Elena's career in design and advertising spans over 20 years, going back to the days of cutting Rubylith and slicing and dicing paste-up boards at Bozell. She held a variety of art and creative director positions before starting her own company in 1993 working with clients such as Levi's, Haggar Clothing, Kenneth Cole and Liz Claiborne.
Running her own small business allowed Elena to further develop a wide variety of skills from account executive, to designer, to production manager. She also learned the value of consistent creativity and responsiveness needed to set a business apart.
Elena's love affair with design goes all the way back to the 1970s, where she would spend countless hours analyzing every inch of psychedelic splatter on Led Zeppelin III or Neil Young's way cool Harvest typography. Her work then was called "groovy" and "far out." Today, it's called award-winning.
