"I've never met a food I didn't like."

Rob was born in San Antonio, Texas, where he developed a love for carne guisada tacos and no-frills cheese enchiladas.

He took these experiences to the City of Brotherly Love, where he broadened his culinary pallet from Taco Cabana to a steady diet of Cheese Steaks and giant strombolis.

Following college, Rob then traveled to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he enjoyed the unusual vinegar based sauce and shredded pork that make Carolina BBQ famous.

But these were just the building blocks necessary to appreciate the Cuban sandwiches and cavity-sweet cafe con leche that are found throughout south Florida.

Rob now resides in Oak Cliff, where he is in the process of chronicling the vast array of taquerias, while sprinkling in visits to Stephen Pyles, The French Room, Lola and York Street.

When not at his desk helping clients achieve their business goals (make money, right?) it can be assumed that he is having lunch.
