Access Plans USA, Inc. was formerly known as Precis, Inc. and is the result of the merger of Precis and Insurance Capital Management USA, Inc. on January 30, 2007. Precis was founded in 1996 and became a public company in 2000. Insurance Capital Management USA was formed in 2002 and began operations in 2003. Prior to obtaining the NASDAQ symbol "AUSA", the company traded under the symbol "PCIS".
